He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey V. Arthur; his parents, Herman H., Sr. and Bessie O. Arthur; his siblings, Herman Jr., James, Foster, Christine Persinger, Helena Nelson and Barbara Miller; and his granddaughter Ashley M. Jeffers.
He is survived by: his children, Norman Arthur of Red House and Suzanne Craigo of Hurricane; his grandsons, Robert and Norman Arthur; his great grandchildren, Cyrus, Ember, Dylan and Kinsley; and his brothers, Gary, Danny and Peachie.
