With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Ray Bailey of Red House, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beechie L. Bailey and Ida W. Bailey; and his brother Harold Lee "Leroy" Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Bailey; his children, Randy "Butch" Bailey (Debbie) of Eleanor, Jeanette Jeffers (Shannon) of Eleanor, Rebecca Miller (Anthony) of Poca and Pauline Beaver (Donovan) of St. Albans; his brother Arnold Bailey (Mary) of Red House; his grandchildren, Brandon Bailey, Derek Bailey, Chelsea McBrayer, Elizabeth Bailey, Hannah Jeffers, Eathan Jeffers, Nathan Jeffers and Shawn Miller; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Ella, Tyler, Haley, Aubree, Hattie, Rory, Jovie, Piper and Scarlet.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Raynes Funeral Home - Eleanor (303 Ash Cir, Eleanor, WV 25070). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org or American Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org .
