He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Blinkmann and Elizabeth I. Blinkmann (Vahldieck); and his brother Raymond Blinkmann. He is survived by: his wife Bertie G. Blinkmann (Bucher); his children, Michael Blinkmann of Reader and Christena Shaw (Burl) of Smithfield, WV; his grandchildren, Tristen Wilcox and Sophie Blinkmann; and his siblings, S. "Linda" McCollum (Joe) of Alabama, Richard Blinkmann (Melody) of Estherville, IA, Florence Halsrud (Mel) of Wallingford, IA, Glenn Blinkmann (Pat) of Remsen, IA and Brenda Dahl (Gary) of Estherville, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (226 State Hwy 20, Pine Grove, WV 26419). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church Food Pantry or Pine Grove FFA.
