He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben McCauley and Ruby McCauley; his grandson Joshua Thompson; and his siblings, Janice Luciano, Ruby Moyer, Phyllis Long, Benjamin McCauley, Christine Gaines, Opal Martin, Gary McCauley and Avon McCauley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCauley; his daughters, Rhonda Jelich (Joe) and Beverly Smith (Joe); his grandchildren, Nathan Thompson (Renna), Ashley Sheets (Joe), Chris Smith, Ethan Smith (Nikki), Jonas Jelich (Aly), Rhys Jelich and Connor Jelich; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson Thompson, Carley, Callie Sheets, Cadyn, Kolton Smith, Channing Jelich and Brady Foster; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Gerwig, Charlotte Thomas and Charles W. McCauley.
