She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Thomas and Leo Williams Cain; her children, Stephanie and Gregory; and her siblings, Rex E. Cain, Evelyn Cain and Helen Cain Coss.
She is survived by: her sister Jennie Award; her daughters, Michele Clark (Gordon) of West Columbia, WV and Lori Rocker (Matt) of Haymarket, VA; her daughter-in-law Christine Carter of Parkersburg, WV; her sister-in-law Connie Carter of Blue Jay, WV; her grandchildren, Christopher Carter, Megan Speece (Michael), Bradley Carter of Ravenswood, WV and Larry Rocker of Haymarket, VA; and her stepgrandchildren, Lori Parker (Mike) of Dover, FL, Rusty Clark (Andrea) of Centerville, OH and Laura Zubreski (Bob) of Vienna, WV. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roush Funeral Home (205 S Ritchie Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (719 Flinn Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164).
