He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Selbe; his son Danny "Red" Selbe; his parents, Samuel Lee and Mary Gullet Selbe; his siblings, Wanda "Sis" Sparkman and Wayne Selbe; and his grandchildren, Mary Selbe, Angie Selbe, Tammy Allen and Danny Allen Selbe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Selbe of Marmet, Patty Selbe of Kanawha City, Donna Selbe Taylor (Robbie) of Chesapeake, Karen Selbe Tolbert (Brian) of Kanawha City and Josie Selbe Slone (Rick) of Kanawha City; his grandchildren, David Lee Selbe, Ashley Selbe, Robert Allen Selbe, Vicky Bowling, Tracy Chafin, Sylvia Taylor, Tim Slone, Makenzy Tolbert and Kathy Slone; and his great grandchild Charlene Day of Ravenswood.
