It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Blackhurst of Ravenswood, West Virginia, born in Cass, West Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knapper and Lillie Hamrick Blackhurst; and his siblings, Lucille Hall, Mildred King, Zoe Barlow, William (Bill), Arthur (Al) and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Goodwin of Rand; his children, Robert Blackhurst, Jr. (Kim) and Carolyn Torris (Randy) of Ravenswood; his grandchildren, Joe (Maggie), Craig (Kyla), David, Steven Blackhurst (Lora), Jared Torris, Kindsey Torris and Megan Blackhurst; his great grandchildren, Hannah (Luke), Levi, Abigail, Nina, Reagan, Charlotte, Jace and Tinzley; and his sister-in-law Sherry Goodwin Montgomery (Major) of Beaver, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
