As we bid Ricky Gene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ricky Gene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Granville Whited and Shirley Marie Easter; his brother Randy Whited; and his granddaughter Rachael Marie Whited. He is survived by: his wife Lori Longenette Whited; his children, Robbie Murray (Jeremy), Renea Van Meter (Jon) and Ricky Whited (Tootsie); his brothers, Ronnie Whited (Lynn) and Rod Whited (Susie); and his stepsons, Scott Evans (Tiffany) and Sean Evans. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roush Funeral Home (205 S Ritchie Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
