He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Staats and Orville Staats; and his brothers, Dave Suttle and Scott Staats. He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Staats of Ripley, WV, Crystal Pease (Jesse) of Ravenswood, Tammy Jones of Parkersburg, WV and Kim Sommerville (Larry) of Chatsworth; and his pets, Peepers, Squirt, Socrates, Kitty, Tiger and Rooster "Henry". He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Due to COVID-19, A graveside only service will be held at Ravenswood Cemetery on January 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm where he will join other family members gone before him.
