He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Pop" Mason and Olive Mason; and his brother Tim Mason. He is survived by: his significant other Lucy Harbert; his children, Susan Akers (Chris) of Ravenswood and John (Katie) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Lindsay Schindler, Leslie Schindler, Ben Schindler (Demi), Kurt Schindler (Markee), William Schindler, Nic Akers, Jack Mason and Kepley Ann Mason; and his great grandchildren, Ira Schindler, Reese Schindler and Nora Schindler.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Roush Funeral Home (205 S Ritchie Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
