John Edward Cohenour Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Cohenour of Ravenswood, West Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolly Ann Cohenour (Tincher) and Richard Vie Cohenour; and his siblings, Otho, Offord, Della, Robert, Lorie, Gertrude, Dorothy, Myrtle and Clarence.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Talbott Cohenour; his children, Marilyn Burns (Bill) of Beckley, WV and Curtis Cohenour; and his grandchildren, Brittany Burns of Beckley, WV, Tyler Burns of Huntington, WV, Matthew Burns of Rock, WV, Elizabeth Jared of Galena, OH, Maria Carlson of Rockwall, TX and Christina Nolte of Bridgeport, WV. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roush Funeral Home (205 S Ritchie Ave, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to made in his memory to the Ravenswood Senior Citizens.
