He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson and Vera Thompson; his brothers, Bob and Darrell Thompson; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Thompson; and his grandson Justin Guinn.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson; his daughters, Sandy Guinn (Dave), Grace Amos (Ken), Karen Swain (Ken) and Melissa Flinn (Wayne); and his siblings, Lawrence, Kenny, Bill Thompson, Blenda Deem and Wanda Caltrider. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
