He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett S. Gentry and Mary Delance Gentry; his wife Phyllis; and his son Thomas C. Gentry. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Greathouse, Timothy Gentry, Terry Gentry, Patricia Shriver, Jerry Gentry, David Gentry, Retha Pyle, Lisa Rexroad, Lora Rhoades and Regina Brown. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
