He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilman Duncan and Beatrice Kitchen Duncan; and his wife Peggy. He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Canterbury; his children, Darrell Duncan (Lisa) of Ravenswood, WV and Brenda Southall (Gary) of Ripley, WV; his grandchildren, Joshua Southall, Jason Southall (Raven) of Ripley, WV, Julie Barr (Adam) of Leroy, WV, Dr. Krista Michelle Melton (Captain Raymond Duncan) of Ravenswood, WV, Jacob Andrew Madden Southall, Arianna Josalyn and Jace Barr; and his brother Bernard Duncan of Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
