He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sanford and Pearl A. Lyons Butler. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Butler; his children, Sarah Beth Foster (Bobby, Jr.), Jeremiah Butler (Elizabeth), Rachel Hatcher (J. R.) and Jonah Butler (Stacy); and his siblings, James (Sharon Butler), Gary Butler and June Butler. He is also survived by 7 granddaughters and 5 grandsons.
