With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Jean Happney of Ravenswood, West Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Champ Tawney and Beatrice Summers Tawney. She is survived by: her husband Mark Happney; her daughters, Kim Murray (Dean) and Tammy Oxley (Greg); her grandchildren, Cory Murray (Karli) of Georgia, Luke Murray (Brooke) of Ravenswood, Kayla Oxley of Charleston and Nicholas Oxley of Wallback, WV; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Luas, Kason, Theodore and Wyatt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter at 86 County Farm Rd, Cottageville, WV 25239.
