Philip Bowers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Bowers (Ranson, West Virginia), who passed away on June 18, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent John William Bowers, Sr. of Martinsburg; his son John P. Bowers; and his sister Doris Whitacre. He is survived by: his parent Minnie Norrington Bowers Linton of Martinsburg; his wife Havonda L. Shaver Bowers; his daughters, Carol Malatt, Wendy Bowers of New Bern and Katherine Bowers-Pennington; his son-in-law David Matieszyn; and his sister Jennie Kief of Martinsburg. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
