He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kemp and Eleanor Main Kemp; his wife Helen Frances Kemp; and his siblings, Jeanette Phelps, Evelyn Korrell, Virginia Musacchio, Anna Mae Stout, Ruth Sentz, Dorothy Harris, Ruby Barklow, Raymond Kemp, Jr. and Ralph Kemp.
He is survived by: his children, Nellie Mae Daugherty of Roseville, CA, Paul David Kemp, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN and John Philip Kemp of Bozrah, CT; his grandchildren, Zebulon, Zachary, Adam Hull, Laura Salazar and Hugo; and his great grandchildren, Mateo Emmanuel Salazar, David, Ian and Ella Hull.
