He is survived by: his mother Serene Statz (Verga); his close friend Carolyn Kolodin (Katherine Statz); his children, Sarah Elizabeth and Mark David; his stepchildren, Katherine Woodward (Dustin, Sr.) and John Kattwinkel (Amanda); his grandchildren, Dustin Thomas, Kalie Grace, Emma Rose, Justice Robert, Layla Belle, Victoria Faith Wenk, Caitlin Brianna, Dylan Carter, Cameron Jayden, Jordan Pryce and Savannah Paige; and his siblings, Matthew Statz (Pia Agostini), Kimberly Garner (James), Kristen Shifflett (Alan), Kathleen Statz, Luke Statz (Sandra) and Karen Nunn (Robert).
