He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elmer Shewbridge and Emma Deaner Shewbridge; and his siblings, Dave, Jim, Monte Shewbridge and Joyce "Sally" Bradley.
He is survived by: his former wife Virginia M. Shewbridge; his children, Jerry "Bodie" A. Shewbridge and Chastidy "Kaz" Shewbridge Link (Kevin) of Shenandoah Junction, WV; his grandchildren, Rachel McCulloch (Wyatt), Daniel Shewbridge, Holly Watson, Stephen Boyd (Danielle), Jheri LeAnn Liskey and Fred Drake; his great grandchild Frederick "Freddy" Drake, IV; his siblings, Joan Shewbridge, Jean Deener and Brent Shewbridge; and his friend Wayne "Mouse" Hough.
