She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Pauley and Marie Pauley of South Charleston. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her daughters, Laura Gilmer (Eric) and Lisa Foley (Ty); her grandchildren, Sydney Gilmer MacDonald, Coryn Gilmer and Jordan Brown; her sister Alice Pauley Miller; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn and Ashtyn. She is also survived by several cousins and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Bible Church (160 Daniel Rd, Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442). When the Covid 19 outbreak began, Janet's volunteering paused for a while, but later she became a member of Sister Acts based in Martinsburg, WV.
