He was predeceased by: his parents, Gentry Muse and Ruby Smith Muse; his son Charles Muse; and his siblings, Frances Ready, Patricia Morrison, Thomas, Aiton and Lawrence Muse.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene DeLong Muse; his daughter Carolyn Muse Siegel (Jason); his grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Jacob, Ellie and Ben; his brother James Muse; and his close friend Elsie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
