It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Smallwood Hough of Ranson, West Virginia, born in Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edgar Smallwood, Sr. and Emily Singhas Smallwood of Virginia; her husband Calvin C. Hough; and her sisters, Charlotte Breeden, Juanita McAboy and Myra Wise.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Ann Michelle Viands of Ranson and Calvin Christopher of Ranson; her granddaughter Mackenzie Lauren Viands of Ranson; and her brother John E. Smallwood of Stephenson, Virginia..
