With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Delong Muse of Ranson, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Delong Muse to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ellenora Colbert; her husband Hugh L. Muse; and her son Charles E. Muse. She is survived by: her stepfather Charles H. Colbert; her daughter Carolyn Muse Siegel; her son-in-law Jason Siegel; her grandchildren, Christopher Petersen, Jacob Muse, Noah Siegel, Ellenore Siegel and Benjamin Siegel; her siblings, Nora Burke (Richard), Christine Raab (Richard), Susan Swartz (Ernie) and David Colbert; and her pet Elsie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Philip's Episcopal Church (411 S Lawrence St, Charles Town, WV 25414).
