With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles William McDonough of Ranson, West Virginia, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles James McDonough and Arietta McDonough (Whittington); his brother Gary McDonough; his parents-in-law, Howard Roper, Marie Roper (Landers), Gloria Jean Meredith (Roper), Howard Stephen "Steve" Roper and Horacio Trujillo-Roper; and his nephews, Phillip "Phil" W. Turner and Robert "Robbie" Smallwood.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Faye Roper McDonough; his children, Jennifer Henry (Scott) of Kearneysville, WV and Charles Wm; his grandson Matthew Henry of Kearneysville, WV.; his siblings, Shirley Cheshire (David), Hazel Nichols (Nick) and Doug McDonough (Julia) of Ranson, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kercheval (Roper) of Williamsport, PA and David Roper of Harpers Ferry, WV.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
