It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Pierson (Ranson, West Virginia), born in Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on November 15, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Owen Pittman Johnston, Sr.; her stepfather Thomas E. Owens; and her brother Kevin Milton Johnston. She is survived by: her parent Emily Pauline Armstrong; her husband James "Jimmy" Norris Pierson; her children, Kenneth "Kenny" Allen Brill, Jr. of Charles Town and Emily "Tessa" Montessa Bohrer of Ranson; her siblings, Owen P. Johnston, Jr. (Lynn) of Winchester, VA and Linda R. Blatzer (Edward) of Martinsburg; and her grandchildren, Kenneth III, Kameron Brill, Tavian James Pierson and Trenton James Walker. She is also survived by wife, mother and grandmother who loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She had fought a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson's Disease.
