He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hatfield and Sallie Cook Hatfield of Virginia; his wife Dorene Hatfield; his brothers, Ferd Hatfield, Baine Hatfield and Chub Hatfield; and his parents-in-law, Rev. Willie McClellan and Velma McClellan.
He is survived by: his children, Zabrina Sisemore of Texas, Robert "Bobby" Hatfield II (Charity) of Georgia, Rev. Mark Hatfield (Zenia) of Kiahsville, WV and Billy Hatfield (Diana) of Ranger, WV; his sister Lois Williams (Dave); his grandchildren, Hannah Lukas (Brett), Mark Anthony Hatfield, Samantha Sisemore, Dustin Hatfield (Olivia), Bubby Sisemore, Max Sisemore, Grace Hatfield, Bobby Hatfield III (Emma), Lauren Ramsey (Eli), Lucius Sisemore, Jamie Hatfield and Alex Hatfield; his great grandchildren, River Cassidy and Phoebe Haas; and his close friend Carl Neace.
