He is survived by: his wife Juanita "Sissy" Bennett of Madams Creek; his children, Robert (Vivian Bennett), Karen Richmond of Chestnut Mountain, Glenna Cook Dick of Hix, Vickie Adkins (Rich Vance), Jennifer Bennett (Wayne) of Hinton and Virginia Bennett of Hinton; his former wife Mamie Adkins of Hix; and his siblings, Donald Bennett of Hinton, Arnold Bennett of Florida and Virginia Harrah of Hinton. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
