He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Arlin Pennington Sr. and Mabel Lilly Pennington; his son Barry Pennington; and his siblings, Janet Bailey, Gilbert Pennington and Sandra Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Moore Davis-Pennington; his children, Nick Pennington (Penny) of Roxboro, NC and Johnna Haven (Brad) of Bland, VA; his stepdaughter Tara Lynn Davis of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Kaegan Young, Nicholas Pennington, Joey Pennington, Braxdyn Haven and Reazyn Haven; and his sister Eleanora Elam of Beaver.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Beckley Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
