He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Deskins and Eva Blevins Deskins; his wife Phyllis Hagy Deskins; and his grandson Jackie Lynn Deskins Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Lynn Deskins (Carolyn), Sandra Andrigo and Albert "Abby" Deskins (Mary). He is also survived by other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (19816 Coal Heritage Rd, Welch, WV 24801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
