He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jackson Hicks and Madeline Walters Hicks; and his siblings, Betty Rogers and John D. Hicks (Jay). He is survived by: his wife Carol Brooks Hicks of Clintonville; his son Roy Allen Hicks (Rebecca Warden) of Clintonville; his grandsons, Ryan Hicks of Clintonville and Robbie Hicks of Clintonville; his brother-in-law Hubert Brooks, Jr. (Brenda) of Crawley; and also, Robby Warden and Briana Warden of Beckley. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
