He is survived by: his wife Arlene Gillespie Tincher; his children, Howard Tincher (Dawne) of Rainelle, Keith Tincher (Lisa) of Boones Hill, Virginia, Cyrena Hill (Dave) of Celina and Kathy Osborne of Roanoke, Virginia; and his sister Shanda Hiller of Brewster, Massachusetts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
