He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hamrick and Mabel Cohenour Hamrick; his daughter Rachel Hamrick; his grandson Dakota Hamrick; and his siblings, Edward "Gene", Dallas "Jack", Verley Hamrick, Gladys "Sis" Jones Hoke, Emma Hamrick, Audrey Sims and Leda Bryant.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Hamrick; his siblings, Howard Hamrick (Kathrine) of Meadow Bridge, Hilda Poling of Pennsylvania, Stella "Gert" McAllister of Grassy Meadows and Garnet "Katie" Martin (Buck) of Rainelle; and his grandson Benjamin Hamrick, Jr.. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
