She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Marion Hanshew and Dorothy Olive Hanshew (Sevy); and her siblings, Pauline Simms, Phyllis Jones, Peggy Knight, Herma Johnson, Bud Hanshew, Steve Hanshew and Johnny Hanshew.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Spade; her daughter Cheryl Smailes (Eddie) of Loops Road; her brothers, Hilbert Hanshew (Juanita) of Danese and Donald Hanshew (Linda) of Radford, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Emily of Adam, AJ, Karly, Matthew, Amber, Gavin and Collins.
