He is survived by: his wife Laura Withrow Sevy; his daughters, Cynthia Sevy Burdette (Chuck) and Stephanie Sevy Legg; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Nicole Legg, Austin Burdette (Samantha), Alex Burdette (Hannah), Alyssa Burdette (John-Daniel Franklin) and Arabella Burdette (Lucas Goff); and his great grandchild Cooper James Burdette.
