With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herschel E. Whisman of Rainelle, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Whisman and Herschel Whisman; and his siblings, Ellen Forren and Joel Whisman. He is survived by: his wife Candace L. Whisman; his children, Carrie Ralston (Bobby) and Jacob Whisman (Melissa); his grandchildren, Emily Dove, Wyatt Dove, James Whisman and Nathan Whisman; and his brothers, Michael Whisman (Myrna) and Fritz Whisman (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
