He is survived by: his son Mike Sanford (Jennifer); his sisters, Doris Blankenship and Delena Sanford; his brother-in-law Jerry Robertson; his grandchildren, William Sanford, Easton DeWitt, Ettamae DeWitt, Rosie DeWitt, Ryder DeWitt, Paisley DeWitt and Layla Stone; his great-niece Lyra Mae Branch; his fiancée Debbie Fields; and his fiancée's children, Matthew DeWitt, Corbin Newlon and Sara-Ann DeWitt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rainelle Chapel (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
