He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Carr and Edith McGuire Carr; and his siblings, James, Gordon Carr (Bud), Christine Crookshanks, Doris Gwinn, Audrey Carr, JoAnn Woolwine, Nola Cyrus and Mary McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Spade Carr; his niece Denissa Harrah (Alan) of Westerville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ryan and Katelyn Harrah of Westerville, Ohio; his siblings, Tommy Carr (Ruth) of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Margaret Orkis of Meadow Bridge and Sarah Hall (Randy) of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Jeroma Nothstine of Dawson and Cecilia Spade of Morgantown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
