He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rice Backus; his daughter Terri Backus McGuire of Rainelle; his brother Dwight Backus (Cindy) of Rainelle; his granddaughter Brandi Fox of Cranberry, PA; and his great grandchildren, Brittnei, Braden and Presley.
