It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Lee Raines (Rainelle, West Virginia), who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doc William Vance and Lillie Dell Adkins Vance; her husband John Robert Raines; her son Johnny Raines; her siblings, Kermit, Kenneth, Calvin, Ronald Vance, Lloyd, Russell Smith, Juanita Blevins and Dixie Bragg; and her nieces and nephews, Chuck Vance, Timothy Blevins, Beverly Blevins and Veda Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Ayers (Debbie) of Highland Mountain, Robert "Bobby" Raines (Jamie) of Highland Mountain, Debbie Taylor (Roger) of Layland and Drema Taylor (Curtis) of Piney View; her siblings, Charles Vance (Boo) of Maplefork, Rex Vance (Dana) of Mount Hope and Eleanor McDaniel (Bill) of Beckley; and her grandchildren, Mandy of Curtis Lee, Ala, Jessica, Chris, John, Erica, Charlie, Donny, Matt, Becky, Jasemine and Nicole.
