He is survived by: his wife Lorene Ward Patterson; his son Eugene Patterson (Deeann) of Rainelle; his sister Lucille Harmon (Larry) of Rainelle; his grandchildren, Amber Jones (Brandon) and Jeremy Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Hunter Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
