He is survived by: his wife Tina Patterson (Bryant); his son Trinity Patterson of Lewisburg; his siblings, Rex (Kathy) of Lewisburg, Mike (Sue) of Lewisburg, Teddy (Sharon) of Lewisburg, Eric Patterson of Ohio, Brenda Patterson of Lewisburg, Karen Viers of Lewisburg, Dixie Wickline of Caldwell and Susan Martin (Steve) of Danese; his siblings-in-law, Alex Bryant, Jr. (Cheri) of Marlinton, Michael Bryant (Vicki) of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Joyce Shuck of Oak Hill, Mary Flanagan of Danese and Cindy Marshall of Quinwood; and his grandson Lee Patterson of Lewisburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
