She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Lee Sparks; her parents, Rollen Trout and Zora O'Dell Trout; her children, Roy "Koochie" Sparks and JoAnna "Jody" Gay; her siblings, Norma O'Dell and Vernon "Bunk" Trout; and her great grandchild Derek Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Farren Sparks, Clyde Sparks (Joyce) and Kathy Surbaugh (Jim); her daughter-in-law Sharon Sparks; and her sisters, Edith Groves and Shelva O'Dell. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
