He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Lee Shamblin; and his sister Connie Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Shamblin; his mother Ada Ashby Shamblin; his daughters, Jodi Shamblin and Tonya Shamblin of Drawdy; his sisters, Drema Shamblin of Racine and Kathy Hill (Phillip) of Mooresville, NC; and his grandchildren, Taytum Shamblin, Trevor Harper, Tazmyn Shamblin, Tyson Rodgers and Treyce Shamblin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
