He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Bratcher; his parents, Jacob Harrison and Veleres Andrews Bratcher; and his siblings, Patrick, Lloyd "Sock", William "Wick" Bratcher, Mary Catherine Parker, Ollie Pearl Bratcher, Lena Mae Robertson and Paula Soteros.
He is survived by: his children, Norman Craig Bratcher (Victoria) of Peytona and Tracy McDonald (Patrick) of South Charleston; his stepdaughter Sherri Price of St. Albans; his brother James Bratcher (Lynn) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bratcher (Ashley), Erin McDonald and Amanda McDonald; his stepgrandchildren, Molly Caldwell, Maggie, Madelyn, Chloe and Claire Price; his great grandchildren, Nixon and Aila; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, Benjamin and Fletcher; and his former wives, Shirley Sue Jarrell-Bratcher of Seth and Patricia Price-Bratcher of St. Albans.
