She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelma Nutter Day and William "Bill" Day of Quinwood. She is survived by: her husband Claude "Strawberry" Truman of Quinwood; her daughters, Tonya Hendrix of Houston, TX and Melynda Midkiff of Rainelle, WV.; her siblings, Mary Newman of Hines, WV, Malcom Roy Day of Orlando, FL and Robert Day of Virginia Beach, VA.; her grandchildren, Josh Lively, Christian Goff (Aaron), Alex Hendrix (Jasmine) and Patrick Hendrix; her great grandchildren, Liam and Maverick Goff; and her pet Jacob.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to make a small donation to St. Jude as this charity was close to Mona's heart.
