He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clay Ratliff and Eula Stump Ratliff; his wife Ethel Mae Bonner Ratliff; and his daughters, Ethelene Penn (Nene) and Ardigaye Ratliff.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Faye Ratliff of Quinwood, Davene Burks (Richard) of Morgantown, Darlene (Keith) of Johns Creek, GA, Donna Walker (Fred) of Durham, NC, Walter Lee Ratliff (Jennifer) of Albany, GA, Danny Ratliff (Stephanie) of Rainelle and Rex Ratliff (Sarah) of Princeton; and his niece Charlotte Jean Bennett of Quinwood. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
