He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Harrison Taylor, Sr. and Martha Sarah Runions Taylor; and his siblings, Molly Wolfe, Herman "Buck" Taylor, Jr. and David Taylor, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Nelson; his children, Jeremy S. Taylor (Susan) of Purgitsville, WV, Chad R. Taylor (Megan) of Maysville, WV and Debra C. Taylor Moorefield; his siblings, Byron "Peanut" Taylor (Sandra) of Rig, WV, Raymond Taylor (Joan) of Burlington, WV, Johnny Taylor (Becky) of Purgitsville, WV, Martha Wolfe (Steve) of Moorefield, WV, Judy Swick of Petersburg, WV, Nellie Delawder (Greg) of Moorefield, WV and Pat Bean (Sam) of Moorefield, WV; and also Brad Taylor (Terri) of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
