He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Pliska and Ruth Pliska (Haddow); his wife Ruth Haley Pliska; his sons, Robert Pliska, Jr. and Peter Pliska; and his grandchildren, Joshua McGee and Emma Pliska.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Pliska (Brigitte), Thomas Pliska and Teresa McGee (Randy); his grandchildren, Derek Pliska, Danny Pliska (Kate), Piper Pliska, Parker Pliska, Blake Pliska, Brady Pliska, Sean McGee, Megan McGee and Erin Dove (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Michael McGee, Faith McGee and Deanna Dove. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
