It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Jarrell of Prosperity, West Virginia, born in Morenci, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Danny Punches and Caron Dillon Punches of Pettisville, Ohio.; her husband Rick Jarrell; her children, Jared Horn (Anna) of Bowling Green and Rickayla Jarrell; her sister Tammy Jo Punches Swisher (Kevin) of Michigan; her nephews, Cameron, Christian Swisher and Ryan Jarrell (Maggie) of Mount Airy, NC; her niece Kellie Jarrell Hunter (Kevin) of Mount Airy, NC; her brother-in-law Greg Jarrell (Linda) of Mount Airy, NC; her mother-in-law Muriel Jarrell of Fayetteville, WV; and her pets, Brownie, Darcy and Melissa.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private funeral services will be conducted for family members only at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2 PM with Rev. Dennis Kinzer officiating.
